Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:30 am – 3:45 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding primary school community in Tower Hamlets. This is your chance to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment, supporting young learners with SEMH needs, ADHD, and other individual challenges, ensuring they thrive in a positive, supportive space.

What You’ll Do:

  • Morning Support: Provide personalised support for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them build confidence and overcome daily challenges.
  • Afternoon Flexibility: Assist across Key Stages 1 and 2, offering tailored guidance to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement bespoke learning strategies that promote academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a Nurturing Atmosphere: Build strong, positive relationships with children, empowering them to achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.

About You:

We’re looking for individuals who are proactive, resilient, and ready to make a difference. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant (or in a similar role) is preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to assist with nappy changing when required, ensuring the well-being of every child.
  • Passion for SEN: A deep commitment to supporting children with SEN and an understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
