Nursery Nurse
Location: Gateshead
Salary: £110-£170 per day

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be a key part of the school community, ensuring the well-being, development, and safety of the children in your care. If you have a passion for early childhood education and are ready to take on a rewarding role, this Nursery Nurse position is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
- Support young children’s learning and development in the Early Years setting.
- Assist with daily activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and storytelling.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create nurturing and engaging environment.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of children's progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about their child’s development.
- Help children develop social, emotional, and physical skills.
Requirements:
- A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- A warm, patient, and caring personality.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
