Maths Teacher - Lincoln

Contract: Part -time
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays
Pay rate: £150 - £200 per day

 

GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher for a part-time position at an excellent school located in the heart of Lincoln. This is an ideal role for a committed educator who can teach Maths 3 days a week—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, contributing to an engaging and successful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored feedback to ensure academic improvement.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, curiosity, and a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, participate in school events, and contribute to the broader school community.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and ensure the wellbeing of all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with specialisation in Maths.
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • A strong understanding of current teaching methodologies and practices in Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive attitude towards continuous professional development.
  • Experience with lesson planning and delivering differentiated content for a diverse range of learners.
