Salary: £85-£100 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Long Term

Working Hours: 08:30 am to 03:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support amazing students of a primary school in Stratford, Newham. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist with personal care needs as required.
  • Support the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and help implement them.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Ability to support students with personal care needs.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the school community.
