Salary: £85-£100 dependent on experience

Are you a dedicated and passionate educator with a heart for supporting children with special educational needs? Our Primary School in Westminster is looking for a talented SEN TA to join our inclusive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to students with SEN.
  • Work closely with classroom Teaching Assistants to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Provide support and guidance to Teaching Assistants and other staff working with SEN students.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and needs.
  • Stay informed about current best practices and developments in special education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant Status (QTS) with experience in special education.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting all students.
