Pay Scale: £100-£230
Contract Type: Full-Time

Are you a passionate Music Teacher with a talent for inspiring students through the power of music? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated individual to join our vibrant school community in Tiptree.

This is an exciting opportunity to foster creativity and musicality in students, helping them to develop their skills and confidence in various musical forms.

The Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative music lessons across all key stages. You will create an inspiring learning environment that encourages students to express themselves and explore their musical interests.

Key Responsibilities of the Music Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Inspire students to appreciate and participate in music, fostering a love for the subject.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Organize and participate in school performances and musical events to showcase student talent.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and support cross-curricular initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression.

Essential Requirements of the Music Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching music at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a requirement for an enhanced DBS check.
