GSL Education is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated 1:1 Child Support in a primary school setting in Bournemouth!

Position: 1:1 Child Support in Primary School
Location: Bournemouth
Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour
Start date: October 2024
Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm (with a 30-minute lunch)

If you have a passion for helping children thrive in an educational setting, this role is perfect for you.

Being a 1:1 child support, your job will be to provide them with committed backing so they can participate in the lesson and have confidence in their abilities. You’ll be the consistent support for the child, both in the classroom and around the school. Creating a warm and encouraging atmosphere is required as well, as you help foster their independence and self-esteem. Collaborating closely with teachers, you'll adapt and implement individualised education plans (IEPs), tracking their progress and sharing insights to support their development.

If you understand the job criteria and want to join us in helping to build the future of young minds, please feel free to reach out or send us your CV!

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience working with children, particularly in a support capacity.
  • Familiarity with the primary school curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.

Here at GSL Education, we pride ourselves on providing a personal service with dedicated consultants focused on helping you find your next role. We offer competitive pay rates and support you throughout the process. Whether you’re starting your career or seeking a better work-life balance, we’re here to help you succeed!

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
