General Cover Teacher
- Location: Ashington
- Salary: £130 - £170 per day
- Contract: Full Time/Permanent
- Start: ASAP
GSL Education requires a General Cover Teacher to provide short-term coverage across various subjects in a school located in Ashington.
Job Summary of a General Cover Teacher :
- Deliver lessons across a range of subjects based on existing plans.
- Maintain classroom discipline and support student learning.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs.
Job Responsibilities of a General Cover Teacher :
- Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students stay on task.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
- Provide support to students in their learning activities.
- Report back to the regular teacher on the progress of students.
- Assist with other school duties as required.
Qualifications of a General Cover Teacher :
- Experience in a similar role or strong educational background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups of students and enforce discipline.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Adaptability to different teaching roles and school environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
