Location: North Shields
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
GSL Education are currently seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants for secondary schools in North Shields. This role is ideal for graduates looking to develop their skills in a secondary education setting.
Job Summary:
- Assist in the delivery of classroom activities and support subject teachers.
- Help with the preparation of lesson materials and learning environments.
- Support students' understanding of the curriculum through one-on-one or small group sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with students to facilitate learning and development.
- Assist with classroom management.
- Support the inclusion of all students in learning activities.
Qualifications:
- A university degree, preferably related to education or the subject area of support.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people's lives.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
