Humanities Teacher
Location: Sunderland, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £130 - £170 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
GSL Education are recruiting a humanities Teacher to join schools in Sunderland. This role involves teaching Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education to secondary school students.
Job Summary:
- Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and use a variety of teaching materials and approaches.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Humanities or related subject.
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student success.
