Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Sunderland, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Sunderland. This role involves supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and providing individualized assistance to primary school students.
Job Summary:
- Assist primary teachers in delivering lessons and practical activities.
- Support students with additional learning needs in accessing the curriculum.
- Help maintain a positive learning environment conducive to academic growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the class teacher.
- Help create inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
- Assist with administrative tasks and classroom preparation.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant subject area or education-related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for education and a desire to support student learning.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
