Cover Supervisor
Location: Sunderland, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join secondary schools across Sunderland. This role involves managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
Job Summary:
- Supervise classes and ensure a productive learning environment.
- Implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
- Manage student behaviour and ensure classroom discipline.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure students engage with the lesson material.
- Address any questions or issues students may have.
- Maintain classroom order and safety.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an educational setting preferred but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
