Position: Learning Support Assistant

Hours: 27.5 hours per week

A wonderful opportunity has emerged within our esteemed primary school for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant team. Collaborating closely with our class teachers, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will engage with students in whole-class settings, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis, particularly focusing on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your duties will include:
- Facilitating effective communication and encouraging the personal growth of our students.
- Demonstrating flexibility, creativity, and adaptability to meet diverse learning needs.
- Implementing positive behavior management strategies consistently.
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting children's development.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with an open-minded approach to trying new strategies.
- A proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth.
- Prior experience working with children is desirable, though not essential. We are prepared to offer support and training to the right candidate.
