Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for early years' education? An exciting opportunity awaits you as a KS1 Teacher in the vibrant community of Southampton. If you're eager to make a positive impact on young learners and create a nurturing environment for their growth, GSL Education wants to give you the opportunity to be a Classroom Teacher at one of our client Primary School in Southampton.

In your role as a KS1 Teacher, you will have the distinct opportunity to influence the educational path of our youngest students. Playing a vital role, you will lay a strong foundation for their future learning. Your creative teaching techniques and nurturing approach will ignite curiosity and cultivate a passion for learning among our Key Stage 1 students.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one.
  • Ability to mark and plan exciting lessons for students that are in accordance with the syllabus.
  • Experience of working within a primary school setting.
  • Create positive relationships with staff, students and governors.

  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
