Payscale: M1 – M6 (£162.31 – £223.63 per day) (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will take on a vital role in delivering high-quality education, nurturing curiosity and encouraging academic growth. You will be responsible for developing engaging lessons that meet National Curriculum standards while providing tailored support to help pupils thrive. Your expertise will help shape young learners into confident and capable individuals as they progress through their primary education.
Key Responsibilities of the KS2 Teacher:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 2.
- Develop a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, implementing effective differentiation and intervention strategies.
- Inspire a love for learning by using creative teaching approaches and real-world applications.
- Foster positive behaviour management strategies to encourage student engagement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to enhance pupil development.
- Contribute to the wider school community, participating in staff meetings, extracurricular activities and school initiatives.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2.
- Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods for KS2.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils.
- Show a commitment to raising pupil attainment through innovative and differentiated teaching strategies.
- Have experience working with pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND or EAL needs.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils staff and parents.
- Be available full-time and eager to contribute to school life.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
