GSL Education are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) in Hull. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide tailored educational support to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be pivotal in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young students in a school setting. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons, providing individual or small group support to students who may need extra help and contributing to the overall classroom environment.

- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Provide individual support to students, helping them to overcome learning challenges.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a school setting.
- Carry a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational and personal development.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Be proactive and flexible in their approach to work.

- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps)
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education).
