Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teacher to join our team, specializing in delivering high-quality lessons in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science across Key Stages 1 and 2 in Slough schools. Whether for short-term sickness cover or ongoing placements, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in students’ learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in core subjects, following school-provided plans where applicable.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Provide support to students, ensuring consistent academic progress during teacher absences.
- Communicate professionally with school staff and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching core subjects at the primary level.
- Flexibility and readiness to work across different schools in the Slough area.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A valid child-enhanced DBS check and adherence to safer recruitment practices.
