Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Southwark
Salary: £145 to £230 per day

Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire and empower students to achieve their potential in mathematics while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create engaging and effective lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH and additional learning needs.
- Individualised Support: Use innovative teaching methods to support students' understanding and confidence in mathematics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education.
- Assessment: Monitor and report on students’ progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Safeguarding: Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment, adhering to all safeguarding and child protection guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience teaching maths in SEMH or SEND settings is highly desirable.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Skills: Excellent classroom management, adaptability, and a passion for teaching mathematics.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Enhanced DBS: An active DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
