Working Hours: 08:30 am to 04:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to support amazing students of a primary school in Newham. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
As Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant in this outstanding school in Newham, you will:
- Provide dedicated support in the mornings, focusing on assisting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD diagnosis and potential self-harming behavior.
- Offer crucial assistance in the afternoons, aiding students and remaining flexible to work across Key Stages 1 and 2.
- Collaborate closely with Early Years educators to provide targeted support for children with SEN
- Utilize your knowledge and skills to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Nursery or Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Seeking someone who is proactive , resilient , can uphold high standards of school and get the best out of the pupils
- Must be able to Support with Nappy Changing
- The successful candidate will be able to put the needs of the children at the forefront of what they do , taking into consideration individual special educational needs
- Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
