One of our mixed, multi-cultural comprehensive schools in East London are currently seeking a well organised, hard-working and adaptable Psychology Teacher to fill an immediate start position they’ve had come available. The school is based in the borough of Redbridge, is committed to educational innovation and was graded ‘outstanding’ in their last Ofsted inspection.

The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified Psychology teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS).
Demonstrate recent experience teaching Psychology in the classroom.
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels for all students.
Show energy and a commitment to make a difference
Demonstrate a vision and ability to motivate students at all capability levels

GSL Education is urgently seeking Cover Supervisors for schools in the London Borough of Redbridge. We run a very busy day to day supply desk- as well as getting long-term positions through, and require strong, reliable and experienced Cover Supervisors immediately.
The role of a Cover Supervisor involves:
-Sole responsibility for supervising classes and issuing work that has been set by the absent class teacher;
-Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking their work, to ensure a constructive environment;
-Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures;
-Dealing with any immediate problems according to the school's policies and procedures;
-Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher;
-Reporting back as appropriate using the school's agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising.
Although the role of a Cover Supervisor does not require any specific qualifications, experience working with young people and strong behaviour management is vital!
