After living and working abroad and in the UK in the hospitality industry for many years, I embarked on my education recruitment career almost 12 years ago. For the majority of that time, I have placed candidates in all sectors but predominantly my career has been focused on SEN schools. I have many long relationships with schools across the North East and am proud of all of the exceptional candidates I have placed, who have gone on to progress their careers in some fantastic settings.
I’m passionate about the sector and think that I never lose sight of the fact that all children deserve the best Teachers and Support Assistants we can find to help them.
I pride myself on giving the best service to both schools and candidates alike and feel that joining GSL has given me a real platform to be able to continue to provide an excellent service. Its hugely important for me to feel I’m surrounded by like- minded people and at GSL we all share that ethos.
Outside of work I’m an adoring but often frazzled Aunty to four boys and one girl (my family is everything to me). I’m also a twin to Nick, my favourite colour is yellow and I’ve a phobia of Clowns and Cucumber. I am also a huge animal lover, pea lover, music lover and Newcastle United Fan and proud Geordie!
