My name is Kerry and I am the Branch Manager for GSL Education’s newly opened Hull office. I have worked in Secondary and Special Needs Education Recruitment since 2016 and haven’t looked back since! Being able to help support young people reach their full potential and offer career advice and guidance to Educators, from behind the scenes, is something I am hugely passionate about.
Having started work in the Travel and Tourism industry as a Travel Advisor at age 16, I was able to travel the world and gain recognised qualifications, as well as work-based experience, for 5 years. After enjoying globe-trotting and booking people’s holidays, I decided to transition into Education Recruitment and build a career.
As a recruiter, I enjoy getting to know both the candidates and clients as well as being able to deliver a great service to all. The greatest part of my day is successfully placing a Candidate into their ideal position, at a local School. Recently I was approved to become a volunteer for the Humberside Police Community Team, which is something I am hugely passionate about. Being able to encourage young people to make the right decisions, through challenging times, is something I find very rewarding.
