Job Title: Maths Teacher

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in the field of Education and Training. This is a full-time permanent position based in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths education to students in line with the curriculum requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons to students.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to ensure learning objectives are met.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them improve their mathematical skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching mathematics at the appropriate level.

Education:

A relevant Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field is required.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching mathematics to students is essential for this role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for maths.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students.
  • Passion for education and helping students succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning outcomes.
