Early Years TA
- Location: Ashington, Northumberland
- Salary: £75 - £100 per day
- Contract: Full Time, Permanent
- Start: Sunday 12/15, 4:00 PM (UK)
GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to work in pre-school and nursery settings in Ashington, Northumberland.
Job Summary: Early Years Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the development of young children, assisting with educational activities, daily routines, and playtime to foster a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily educational and play activities designed to enhance early development.
- Support the emotional and social development of children.
- Help maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a safe and supportive setting for all children.
Requirements:
- Experience in early childhood education or relevant qualifications such as NVQ in Childcare.
- A caring and positive attitude towards young children.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility and creativity in educational activities.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
