Salary: £100 - £230 per day

The Role:

As a Physics Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging physics lessons to students across different age groups and abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering inspiring physics lessons that capture students' interest and promote active learning
  • Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with varying levels of prior knowledge and ability
  • Providing ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor student progress and support their academic growth
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and enrichment opportunities that enhance students' understanding of physics
  • Participating in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives to contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong background in physics education
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in the field of physics
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • The ability to create engaging and innovative teaching resources and activities
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Experience working with secondary school students and an understanding of the national curriculum requirements for physics
