Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year

The Role:
As the Head of Department (Math Teacher), you will lead a team of passionate teachers in delivering outstanding math education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Math department with vision, enthusiasm, and strategic direction
- Developing and implementing a dynamic and engaging math curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
- Providing instructional leadership to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Monitoring student progress and implementing intervention strategies to support student achievement
- Mentoring and coaching staff to enhance their teaching practice and professional development
- Collaborating with other departments to promote cross-curricular learning opportunities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of successful teaching in mathematics
- Experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- A passion for mathematics and a commitment to instilling a love for the subject in students
- The ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues
- A strong understanding of current educational trends and initiatives in math education
