SEND & SEMH Teacher

Location: Deal

Salary: £140 - £165 per day

Start date: Immediately

Contract: Full Time

 

Are you a qualified Teacher with experience supporting students with SEND & SEMH? We are seeking a patient and dedicated individual to join our team for a long-term booking at a Deal school.  The school require a teacher until the end of July 2024; the vacancy is for a secondary teacher in a mixed class of year 9, 10, and 11 students. You will teach the full curriculum as the class remain together for all of their lessons.  The main needs of the class are Social, Emotion and Mental Health (SEMH) and ASD.

 

As a SEND & SEMH Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Maintaining a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Building strong relationships with students and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Contributing actively to the cohesive functioning of the teaching team.

 

SEND & SEMH Teacher Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or possess relevant UK teaching qualifications.
  • Demonstrate a solid foundation in teaching with the ability to adapt methods to cater to SEND & SEMH needs.
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit adaptability and poise in various classroom settings.
