Position: KS2 Teacher

Location: Southampton

Salary Type: £30,000 - £46,525

Start Date: September

 

GSL Education is currently seeking a KS2 Teacher to join our team in Southampton. We are looking for passionate educators committed to making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Requirements:

  • Must hold a Teaching Certification (QTS/PGCE).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies as a KS1/KS2 Teacher.
  • Display patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
  • Skilled in creating engaging and inclusive lesson plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver dynamic lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere to encourage student engagement and collaboration.
  • Employ effective classroom management techniques to optimise the learning environment.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in classroom management techniques specific to KS1/KS2 teaching.
  • Ability to implement differentiated instruction methods effectively.
  • Clear and effective communication with students, parents, and peers.
  • Utilisation of technology to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Establishment of a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Application of various assessment and evaluation strategies.
