Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
As an SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with SEMH needs in Newham. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, implementing strategies to manage behaviour and promote emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, promoting their independence and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
