Cover Supervisor
- Location: Rotherham (S66)
- Salary: £95 - £115 per day
- Status: ASAP
GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and proactive Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools in Rotherham (S66).
Job Summary: The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for managing the classroom, ensuring students remain on task and continue their learning during the absence of their regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-set work left by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a constructive learning environment.
- Assist students with their work by providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain classroom resources and records.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or strong educational background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups of students and enforce discipline.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
