The Role:

As a Co-Educator, you will work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to assist in the delivery of lessons and the implementation of support plans for individual students. Whether it's providing one-to-one support, leading small group activities, or assisting with classroom management, you will play a key role in ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons

- Providing targeted support to students with additional needs to help them achieve their academic goals

- Assisting with the implementation of behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment

- Supporting the social and emotional development of students through mentoring and pastoral care

- Liaising with parents, external agencies, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support for students

 

Requirements:

- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant or support worker

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment

- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with a willingness to undergo necessary background checks

- Relevant qualifications or training in education, child development, or a related field would be advantageous
