Tutor

Location: Wakefield
Start Date: Flexible
Salary: Up to £25 per hour (PAYE)
Contract Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

About the Role:
GSL Education are currently seeking experienced tutors to provide tuition in the Wakefield area. As a tutor, you will be responsible for planning and implementing catch-up programmes for children in care or pupils who are not currently in education. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, whether you're an experienced educator or a passionate individual looking to make a difference.

To Be Successful You Will Need:

  • Experience planning and delivering your own lesson plans.
  • Previous experience working with primary or secondary aged children.
  • Enthusiasm, engagement, and resilience in supporting students.

It Is Desirable If You Have:

  • Experience working with children in a 1:1 tuition capacity.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour.
  • A good understanding of Special Educational Needs or a willingness to learn.
