working hours: 8.45-2.48

- Salary: £75 - £100 per day
- Contract: Part Time, Permanent
Job Summary: GSL Education are seeking a part-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. This position focuses on facilitating a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs both in and outside the classroom.
- Implement strategies to manage anxiety and promote positive behaviours.
- Collaborate with teachers to tailor learning approaches to individual needs.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting students with SEMH challenges.
- Strong understanding of mental health in educational contexts.
- Empathetic and supportive approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
