ASD TA Secondary
- Location: Consett, County Durham
- Salary: £75 - £95 per day
- Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Job Summary: GSL Education are seeking an ASD Teaching Assistant for secondary school settings, dedicated to supporting students with autism spectrum disorder in achieving their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in adapting lessons to meet the needs of ASD students.
- Provide one-on-one support in educational and social development.
- Help manage sensory sensitivities and communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to maximize student success.
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting secondary age students with ASD.
- Knowledge of strategies to support ASD in educational settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
